COMMENCEMENT OF NAMIBIA REFUGEES
(RECOGNITION AND CONTROL) ACT, 1999

Under the powers vested in me by section 33 of the Namibia Refugees (Recognition and
Control) Act, 1999 (Act No. 2 of 1999), I hereby fix 22 September 2000 as the date on
which that Act shall come into operation.
