PROVISIONAL LOCAL AUTHORITY VOTERSʼ REGISTER:
OMUTHIYA LOCAL AUTHORITY COUNCIL: OSHIKOTO REGION:
ELECTORAL ACT, 1992

In terms of section 21(b) of the Electoral Act, 1992 (Act No. 24 of 1992), it is notified that –
(a)

copies of the provisional local authority votersʼ register for the Omuthiya Local Authority
Council elections, prepared in terms of paragraph (a) of that section, are available for inspection by the public during office hours at the Voter Education Office situated at the Ministry
of Agriculture: Rural Water Supply, Omuthiya, as well as at the Head Office of the Electoral
Commission, 11 Goethe Street, NDC Headquarters, Windhoek; and

(b)

the period during which objections may be lodged against the inclusion of the names of
persons appearing on the provisional local authority votersʼ register, referred to in paragraph
(a) above, shall be the period from the date of publication of this notice until 23 July 2008,
during office hours.

Government Notice No. 33 of 13 February 2008 is herewith withdrawn.
