Regulations concerning the Demonetization and Withdrawal of a Particular Issue of Stamps, 1990

Subject to the provisions of section 32(1)(d) of the said Act and regulation 2, the issue of adhesive revenue and penalty stamps referred to in Government Notice R. 1133 of 2 June 1978 of the Republic of South Africa shall be regarded as demonetized and withdrawn with effect from 21 June 1990.

The provisions of regulation 1 shall not apply to revenue or penalty stamps overprinted for special purposes, including for the purpose of consular service.

The regulations promulgated under Government Notice R. 1132 of 2 June 1978 of the Republic of South Africa, are hereby repealed.
