1. Definitions
In these directives -"period of lockdown" means the period from the commencement of this directive until the end of the period of lockdown specified in regulation 3 of the State of Emergency Regulations made by Proclamation No. 9 of 2020.2. Parks to be closed
All National Parks, Game Parks, and Nature Reserves are to be closed to visitors during the period of lockdown.3. Accommodation establishments to close
4. Tour operators and tour guides to cease activities
All tour operator and tourist guide activities are prohibited during the period of lockdown.5. Anti-poaching activities
Anti-poaching operations between the Ministry responsible for environment, forestry and tourism matters, Namibian Police Force and the Namibian Defense Force must continue and the relevant personnel are expected to be on full alert.6. Human wildlife conflict
7. Provision of water to wildlife
The provision of water for wildlife in parks and conservancies must continue during the period of lockdown.8. Farm inspections to be suspended
All farm inspections by staff of the Ministry responsible for environment, forestry and tourism will be suspended during the period of lockdown.9. Offences
